Rohan Baneeah
Sports Massage Therapist - 1st class honers in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation
At Dr. Stretch, I combine a solid background in sports science, a genuine love for fitness, and a personal commitment to helping others reach their physical best.
My journey in sports and rehabilitation took on a new meaning when I encountered my own setback at university. I developed a condition called costochondritis, and after visiting several therapists and doctors, I found that very few professionals knew much about it or how to treat it. With no clear guidance, I had to take matters into my own hands—researching, self-diagnosing, and eventually rehabilitating myself. This process not only helped me recover but sparked a deeper interest in understanding how the body heals itself, and I realised that I wanted to help others in the same way.
With my degree in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation from Middlesex University, I’ve gained a thorough understanding of how the body moves and responds to physical demands. My love of sport, especially calisthenics, constantly reminds me of the body’s incredible potential to adapt, recover, and excel.
As a Sports Massage Therapist, my aim is to combine my knowledge and personal experience to support athletes and active individuals of all kinds. Whether you’re a professional, a weekend warrior, or somewhere in between, I use therapeutic techniques to relieve pain, improve flexibility, and boost performance.
To me, massage therapy is about more than just recovery; it’s about helping you understand and optimise your body. I’m committed to tailoring each session to suit your specific needs, whether you’re seeking relief from soreness, injury prevention, or simply aiming to push your limits. I’m here to support you in reaching your physical potential and feeling your best.
